Purpose
  • It is our policy to comply with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies and operating procedures, including U.S. Standard Groups and OSHA. Our program will be continually revised to meet the changing needs of our customers. Training sessions will provide for maximum learning, paced according to the learner’s needs, retention and effectiveness.

Plant Personnel Will Be Able To...

  • Operate the plant power distribution system, make necessary breaker adjustments and lubrication, recognize hazards and proceed safely
  • Safely troubleshoot and maintain the power factor correction system along with restore from power outages on power distribution systems
  • Perform maintenance of power distribution circuit breakers and conduct battery charges safely and required maintenance procedures
  • Identify potential problems that develop in a battery cell along with perform tests as to recognize and correct a variety of problems
  • Understand and utilize the facility lockout procedures as they apply to the plant power distribution system
